presentation of the VISION TOUR 2010

the power of a luxurious road-going GT is not as accessible to a manufacturer as one might think. Few have ever tried their hand at it, but the existing models are legendary. Until now, enjoying the open road aboard a powerful liner has only been possible aboard 3 vessels: the Honda Goldwing, the BMW K 1200 LT, and the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide (and its many variations). Here's a new machine to thin out this overview, offer another version of prestige touring, and combine motorcycle cruising with Canadian style (tabernacle...!) - the Victory Vision Tour.

Victory is THE Harley competitor in North America. Although little-known in North America, the brand boasts an extensive range of some fifteen models. A subsidiary of Polaris, Victory arrived in France in 2010 to share its vision of the road. Its superb vessel is no exception to the rule of exuberance, from the enormous twin to the curved shapes of its fairing. Remarkable and surprising, the silhouette is worthy of a Star Trek episode. With its futuristic lines and bio-tech design, it's a cross between a yacht from a bygone era and an opulent old Cadillac. The front end resembles the majesty of an intergalactic cruiser, while the hyper-designed stern is adorned with a large V-shaped headlight (for Vision... or Victory) and topped by an imposing, stylized top-case that doubles as a passenger armchair. The styling is not just futuristic. It's the fruit of many hours of wind tunnel testing to ensure high-quality protection, lower noise levels and greater stability on the road. Majestic in its regalia, the Victory Tour doesn't forget the essentials. It leaves its sides wide open to reveal the air-cooled, twin-cylinder "Freedom" engine.

A typically American engine, based on 106 cubic inches, or 1731 cm3. Between its fins, 92 hp, 1 ACT and 4 valves per cylinder, fuel injection and a torque of 15 mkg, much in demand by this big 400 kg beast. Beneath its imposing silhouette, the equipment (standard or optional) is worthy of a good German sedan: heated grips and saddles, MP3 radio-CD player, electric windscreen, cruise control, GPS, good load capacity, princely seating and protection, combined braking with ABS option, and a very low seat height to sink into instead of sitting in the armchair. The instrument cluster is flattering, with 4 analog dials, a digital window and a panel of indicator lights between the tachometer and rev counter. Aware of the Vision's mass, Victory has thought things through in case the GT slips out of your fingers at a standstill or in the event of a bad kickstand. Discreet guards greatly reduce the risk of damage should the sides of the machine come into contact with the ground. Ready to eat up the miles, the Vision Tour packs 22.7 liters of fuel in its two tanks. These are recessed into the load-bearing aluminum frame.

A threat to theElectra Glide? This new Vision Tourer doesn't have the aura of its rival, but its futuristic styling and Polaris confidence could shake up the hierarchy. The Vision Tour is an imposing machine, and if its price doesn't take too much inflation when it arrives on our territory, it could tickle the Goldwing benchmark and BM's forthcoming 6-cylinder LT. This GT is available in several trim levels, the first of which starts at over 22,000 euros, considerably less than the competing Electra Glide Ultra Limited.

PFF c'est génial
i've owned a 2014 model for 2 years and wouldn't change a thing. You get used to the weight when you stop. As for the handling, it's fabulous....the comfort front and rear... Rating : 5/5

I tried this bike at the 2015 Verbier Bike Fest, it was a demo bike, and I had an unimaginable pleasure! I have a 2009 Harley FXDC, but this one... What comfort! And what suppleness! I felt like I was riding a high-end scooter, but it's a MOTORBIKE! Yess ! Rating : 5/5

French STAR TREK Model 2012
Old BMW k 1200 LT
i was hesitating between the Electra and the k 1600
i have to admit that the transition between the bm and the harley is really radical
When I discovered the vision the compromise
The futuristic flax gave me a new nickname in the group, Star Trek of course!
Otherwise, I'm having a lot of fun with the bike's roadholding
Even better than the k 1200
a little more impressive than the k, but you get used to it quickly, the noise obviously takes some getting used to compared to the bmw, but that's it
The choice, but nice when you get used to it
Rating : 5/5

French BATMAN Model 2012
Quite simply the best bike in its class. After 2 K12 LTs, LA VISION sets the record straight: NOTHING compares... You have to try it to understand, and stage 1 is not compulsory. Personally, I've had the chicanes removed, and it suits me 200%. To this day, my gardener has Rating : 5/5
French boubou Model 2012
simply fabulous, I love it Rating : 5/5
If the new local dealer (EML in Bailleul 59) takes back my K1200lt, I'll dive in! It's a pity he's giving a Stage 1 a try, as it distorts the assessment a bit. Rating : 5/5

Bjr,
Comme anker56, une marche pour une machine de 400 kgs...inutile?????
Hum hum...
I've only ridden Gold in 1500 and 1800 and Venture in 1200 and 1300, the Venture with 360 kg mini without MA, hard to move at a standstill all the same
When parking, it's better to see who's screwing the front wheel, isn't it?
I'm all for the MA. So she doesn't have it?
What's taken from us?
What a beautiful she-devil!!!!!
Bonne route

Hello . anker56 reverse gear is useless on the VISION . LA VISION (in upper case ifouplait^^) is really an extraordinary motorcycle, after 1 BM 1200 CL and 2 K12LTfl, I am currently on LA VISION and absolutely do not regret having left BM, the K12 LT although being a very good bike suffers from this feeling of weight, while LA VISION is in truth I tell you (mdr) an aircraft carrier with a speedboat agility. Seeing it is good, trying it is cracking^^ Rating : 5/5
Y a t'il une marche arrière ?
