presentation of the 1700 CROSS ROADS 2011

to discover the Touring in Victory, the gateway is called Cross Roads. The first impression is one of comparison with the famous liner of the immediate competitor: the Harley Road King; but it also hunts in the lands of Heritage and Deluxe depending on its declinations (Classic, Delux,...). Except that HD remains stuck in its classicism. Victory has developed an identity with a clear visual edge, projecting custom styling into the 21st century.

from GT, it has all the genetics. Take a Vision, strip it naked, add leather cases, and you've got the Cross Road. Its aluminum-section, inverted-fork chassis delivers handling well above the class norm. The twin, advantageously cubed and pleasing to the eye, blends style and modernity. In the purest American tradition, it's an air- and oil-cooled V-twin. But modernism has also crept in: 45 mm fuel injection, 4 valves per cylinder, self-adjusting chain and hydraulic tappets.
If we had to sum up the Cross Roads in a few figures, here's a list: 1731 cm3 from which come 92 hp and 140 nm, 66 liters of luggage, 22 of benzine, and a small check for 20,000 euros. In absolute terms, that's a lot of bang for the buck, yet it's a very competitive price in this category. The powertrain is efficient but lacks character, the roadholding is good and the invitation to travel is both stylish and engaging.

French Model 2011
Hello
Owner of a victory cross Roads since 01/09/12.
I'm really disappointed, not by the bike because I fell in love with this model, but by this very noisy gearbox (noise of loose sprockets). I tried to point this out to the dealer, but the answer was "it's a normal noise".
