presentation of the 1700 HARD-BALL 2013

victory enriches its range with a Bagger with an unfortunate tendency towards bad manners: the Hard-Ball. With its ape-hanger handlebars, dark paintwork, spoked rims and tiny speedo block, this custom cultivates its own style, albeit rather close to the 'Dark Custom' style of its main competitor. A plethora of variations based on the big 1731 cm3 twin, the Hard-Ball is in fact a touring version of the High-Ball, to which we've added the rear end of a Cross Country, i.e. a set of hard cases, an extended seat for a more dignified passenger, and a new, more comfortable and more comfortable bike.e to accommodate a more dignified passenger, two exhaust outlets modified into a single element, and a complete cladding around the rear wheel. The 8-ball's minimalist mudguard is also replaced by that of the X-country.

at Victory, 'Ball' models are accessible versions of a defined model. Not for this 'hard', but its name justifies a more austere but not uninteresting presentation, willingly displaying a bad-boy tendency that suits it to a tee. For those who like to drive nails with their fists and are keen to discover a different version of the American motorcycle, it's the perfect combination of style and travel.
The Hard-Ball is powered by the only in-house engine, a 106-cubic-inch air-cooled twin. It produces 97 hp in the US, 89 in Europe. Torque is virtually unaffected by the border crossing, at 15 mkg. A large 22-liter fuel tank makes long cruising trips possible, and ABS comes as standard, as does a very typical riding position and rather intrinsic handling. With hands at nose level, feet not far from the front tire, a wheelbase of 1.67 m and a weight of 345 kg, there's no need to expect agility and ease, even when you're on the move.even if the Victory chassis boasts a level of efficiency far superior to that of Milwaukee's own production models.

Dommage que Vic ne fasse plus de motos

I've had the Hard Ball for a few months now
Surprising bike... in a good way ;-). In stage 2, it's a peach with a nice sound without being a pain in the ass
The riding position is great with the Ape hanger
Agility is astonishing for such a big bike! And you can still attack corners
In short, it's pure bliss!
