presentation of the 1000 SCRAMBLER 2002
the scrambler is a bouquet of flowers in the motorcycling landscape, an invitation ... to ride with a smile on your face, in a relaxed way, with a machine whose name takes up a concept that has now all but disappeared.
The 2003 model, which heralds Voxan's revival, features a number of improvements, above all a much-improved finish. This was necessary because the price tag is out of the reach of the novice biker.
With arms outstretched and feet slightly forward, you're relaxed, light years away from the discomfort of hypersports. It's not the Joe Bar team's thing. The lack of protection makes itself felt from 130 km/h onwards, leading you more or less naturally into a fighting stance.
Comfortable suspension, a too-soft fork, high mass transfers... it's not in the vein of the latest big sporty roadsters. Take it with the charm it emanates and rediscover the roads that smell of hazelnut. Because the Voxan offers you the chance to stroll along and have a great time at the same time. The best part, however, is its twin-cylinder engine which, even when revved up to 85 bhp, distills pleasure and joviality without needing to tease the red zone. Cool character, lively acceleration and precise gearing excite the senses on every ride - just what the Scambler was designed for.

14.5 L fuel tank... =>...200 km of autonomy, a bit short to "carve the road" on the secondary roads..
The journalists-testers must have "wrung out the handle", as this modern engine for its time should not have exceeded 6L/100km...
"It's always wrong to be right too soon!!! " Rating : 5/5 Respond to Fuza56
Halfway between a roadster and a trail bike, it's supple, easy to handle and very pleasant
The Voxan range is original and aesthetically successful
As for the engine, no worries (avoid going below 2,500 rpm), she doesn't like it
I wanted to ride a Voxan, but I don't like the "reclining" position (leaning on the handles,...). As soon as the scrambler came out, with its modern (tank) and neo-retro (raised pots) styling, I said to myself: this is the bike for me. For me, it's one of the most beautiful bikes of recent years. As you say, why don't we see more of them on the roads?
If this brand had been released in Germany or Italy, it would have been a big hit
But in France, as we all know, "it's always better elsewhere"!
