presentation of the R6 GYTR 600 2023
Since the R6 is no longer available in a road version, its fans have only the track to console themselves. With two versions in the catalog. Firstly, the R6 Race, simply stripped of everything that's not needed: headlights, indicators, mirrors and so on. Perfect for immediate slider scraping..
....Et the GYTR, already better suited to teasing the stopwatch and breathing the scent of competition. The SuperSport has been extensively upgraded to extract its full potential. Weight savings, efficiency and radicalism are the order of the day.
the R6 GYTR is offered with a carbon-reinforced fiberglass fairing. All that's left to do is apply your own deco, sponsors and the signatures of the stars of the paddock. Once the customization workshop is over, the rider can enjoy a more racing-like comfort on board, with adjustable recessed controls and a racing seat.
no need for a key with the GYTR. A simple button turns on the ignition. The same goes for refuelling, with a cylinder-less hatch. Start-up allows the Akrapovic titanium exhaust to sing, but before that, you can modify the engine's behavior. In addition to the racing harness, this R6 is equipped with a programmable Superstock ECU. Breathing for the 4-cylinder is simplified with a set of plates for removing the AIS air intake system with its tubing and cartridges.

No change to the 4-piston radial calipers, but avia' hoses are fitted as standard. The transmission has also been improved for greater efficiency and feel, with a 520-pitch chain kit.
A kit for reversing gear selection is optional.
oh , by the way, the FIM requires certain parts. So, they're already in place. This concerns the brake lever protection and another for the rear sprocket.
A rear stand and the diabolos that go with it are also in the pack.
All that's left to do is fill up the tank, remove the heating blankets (not supplied) and weld. The 118-hp engine is only really happy when it's screaming its watts, with the only limit being the end of the straight.
One small problem: the R6 GYTR is only available from GYTR Pro Shops. There are only 5 in Europe, but Yamaha plans to expand the network. Where to find them:
