the Deus Ex Machina workshops once again make their mark in the Yard Builts category. The XV 950 is transformed into a summery and particularly fun sidecar.

The XV 950 was a perfect base for the creation: its torque-rich 950 cm3 engine offers the right performance for a modern sidecar concept, and therefore the versatility needed for all types of adventure. What's more, the Deus tuners made no modifications to the chassis or engine, and cut or welded nothing. A little extra that makes all the difference: you can order parts directly from Deus to give a "D-Side" touch to your own XV."

Determined to give the sidecar an uncluttered look and to emphasize simplicity, Deus turned to the marine world and drew inspiration from the world of vintage boats to design this sidecar. The result is obvious: a classic boat shape at the front and a beautiful wooden space at the rear for stowing luggage. The sidecar features the same front wheel as the XV 950, emphasizing the symmetrical effect.

For the XV 950, the Deus tuners drew inspiration from one of their previous creations: the "Drover's Dog" Brat Style, an SR 500 with simple lines and a mounting system for surfboards. This influence is reflected on the XV, with a surfboard mount between sidecar and motorcycle, and clean, simplified styling that highlights the torque-rich V-twin engine.

the Deus team stripped the XV down to its bare essentials, transforming the bike without cutting or welding the chassis. A custom rear frame was added to raise the height of the seat, which is covered by an Alcantara hood. A Deus aluminum fuel tank adds the finishing touch to the D-Side's beautiful lines. Deus aluminum front and rear mudguards blend perfectly with the tank, while Deus/Discacciati six-piston calipers provide extra braking power.

A custom Deus Sc-Projet exhaust, filter and aluminum air intake provide the summer soundtrack, while MX grips and a Motogadget speedometer enhance rider comfort. Several small customizations make the creation stand out, and the hand-painted finish by Kaos Design adds the final touch to the D-Side.
