german tuner Marcus Walz is back with a huge job on the Yamaha XV 950. His "El Ratón Asesino" sets a new standard for detail.
Walz has totally transformed the rear of the XV 950 with a modified swingarm and a custom rear loop incorporating the mini LED taillight. A fuel tank, windscreen and backrest housing a hand-stitched leather saddle have been made especially for the machine.
The suspension has been completely redesigned: the fork has been lowered and fitted with progressive springs, while the rear suspension is entrusted to two fully adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers. Marvic magnesium wheels have been adapted to the machine, and the rear section provides a sportier riding position.
The café racer look is accentuated by LSL bracelets featuring a quick-draw throttle, custom comodo, LSL master cylinder and adjustable LSL levers. A Moto Gadget mini speedometer is located in the center of the cockpit.
The XV 950 engine features special rocker covers and crankcases. A hand-made exhaust manifold feeds an SC-Project muffler.
To stop the machine, modified brake calipers are combined with Wave discs front and rear. The magnificent paint job on a pale blue base, combined with Yamaha speed blocks, further accentuates its retro look.
