The Monster spirit is gradually gaining followers in the Yamaha range. The little R125 sports bike was the first to fall in love with it. Then it was the turn of the YZ-F 450 and 250 to wear the black dress with green claws. Since then, 2-stroke cross-country bikes have also been decked out in the colors of the energy drink.
This color scheme, inspired by the official MXGP and MX2 machines, is flattering and exhilarating for regular fans of the championships in which the YZs shine. It's good for the heart, but not for performance. The YZ 125 Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Edition is strictly identical to the standard machine.
No bonus parts, but plenty of goodies, as the bike has been seriously revised since 2022. New internal engine components, new carburetor, revised air intake, revised YPVS valve system, reworked transmission, more power at higher revs, narrower bodywork, optimized suspension settings, reworked brakes, reworked exhaust, new seat, refined tank and radiator.... The factory look requires an additional 300 euros. All that's missing is a sponsor sticker kit and a hug from Jeremy Seewer to dress up as a YZ 450 FM.
