Motorcycle specifications Bimota1000 TESI H2 2024 Breathing on the embers

It could have been called KB4; instead, it chose a more symbolic name: that of the alliance between a surrealist chassis and a breathtaking motorization. The Tesi H2 is a little more than a new motorcycle. It's a moment in the rebirth of Bimota, which for a while was thought to be dead.
The small Italian craftsman was just asphyxiated and comatose. Kawasaki stepped in, taking a substantial stake in the company, reviving the business and helping to bring about the birth of this 4th motorcycle, born of the union of a Kawa engine and a Bimota design. it's been 36 years since the KB3, and the reunion is expressive.
Extravagant, out of the ordinary, out of class, out of place - this machine can be described in many ways. Its sharp angles and technical prowess are enough to dismember any observer's eyes. But the brand has undeniably lost its elegance, its strong, sensual inspiration. Where are the aromas of the DB6 Delirio, SB8R, 1100 SB6?
Once the conjunctivitis has passed, an appreciation of technology will restore this bike's reputation.
It's all in the name. The engine used in this sportbike comes directly from the 1000 H2. It's a 4-cylinder engine powered by a compressor, which enables it to produce huge watts of power. It starts with 200 hp on the first version of the H2, 231 on the second (the current one), and 321 on the H2R. Bimota has tweaked it a little to suit its own taste, and has also extracted 231 hp; 242 in dynamic with forced air.
The atypical chassis requires a number of adjustments. Pay particular attention to the placement of the radiator, which is no less unusual. This approach reveals that the Tesi H2 is packed with component connecting rods. From Brembo (brakes), OZ Racing (wheels) and Öhlins (shock absorbers and steering damper).
The Bimota Tesi H2 borrows more than just its mechanics from its main partner. The dashboard comes from the H2 SX. If the sensors and processors follow suit, we're entitled to expect electronics also from Akashi, with traction control, stop-start assistant, engine brake control, power management, riding modes, Up&Down shifter, etc...
We can only welcome the return of a Bimota to the market... of exceptional motorcycles. The Tesi H2 showcases its avant-garde looks, intrinsic technology and power galore. Let's not even mention the price; Ducati is reasonable by comparison. It should be pointed out, however, that the advertised price is exclusive of tax. Production will be limited to 250 units.
