For the second year running, Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia is MotoGP World Champion. Ducati is therefore repeating a special Panigale V4 S series in his honor. After the replica red paintwork of 2023, the new model takes on "Giallo" yellow - a livery that the Desmosedici GP wore at the San Marino GP.

It is part of a squadron of five limited-edition Panigales. Each model will be made unique by the rider's original signature on the tank, which will then be varnished.

Like the racing bikes that inspire them, the Panigale Racing Replica models are offered in single-seater configuration only. Each one features an aluminium top-tee, laser-engraved with the model name and progressive number, as well as a dedicated key and an animation on the dashboard when initialized. What's more, the seat is made from a special material, with the rider's logo just like on the racing bike.

this Panigale V4 "Pecco" is based on the popular "S" model, with its taut, sexy design, semi-active Öhlins suspension and Marchesini forged rims. Various Ducati Performance components make it even more valuable and efficient on road and track. Technical features include the STM-EVO SBK nine-disc dry clutch and Akrapovic-approved muffler, which is 2 kg lighter than the standard muffler on the Panigale V4. The Brembo braking system is reinforced by Stylema R calipers and an MCS master cylinder with offset brake-shift adjustment. Adjustable footrests are in Rizoma aluminum. The windscreen is a racing version.

Other technical details characterize this special bike, such as the exhaust manifold heat shield, alternator protection, rear mudguard and front brake hose sheaths, all in carbon fiber. The swingarm protection is also in carbon, combined with titanium.

The Panigale V4 Replica MotoGP gets closer to racing bikes thanks to a series of accessories, such as the carbon-fiber open clutch cover, kits for removing the number-plate bracket and rear-view mirrors, the machined aluminum racing fuel filler cap and the GPS module that displays lap and split times achieved on the track on the dashboard.

each bike will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity and delivered in a special wooden crate with dedicated graphics and a personalized bike cover.

Apart from the very "748"dress, this special edition Bagnaia 2024 is hardly any different from last year's model. For the same bike and the same additional equipment, Ducati is asking 10,000 euros more. Priced at 73,000 euros, this Panigale V4 Champion MotoGP Replica will certainly have no difficulty in finding takers, and the 263 units will go fast - despite the fact that its price is not only intolerable, but unjustifiably so.
