buying a Bimota is a small event in itself. It's a blend of luxury, sport and originality. The DB 11 is a fine example of this, and the uniqueness can be taken even further with this VLX version. What does it have to offer? The Öhlins suspension, the carbon fairing, the mind-boggling 30,000-euro price tag?

it's all very pleasant, of course, but THE special feature of this VLX is the addition of a supercharger. The Ducati Testastretta 11° engine used on the Multistrada and Diavel goes from 162 to 191 horsepower thanks to this "Supercharged" unit. The twin also distributes 1 mkg of extra torque throughout the rev range. The maximum is 14.5 mkg.
With this supercharging appendage, the DB11 VLX adds 4 kg to its weight, and houses one hell of a gas factory on its right-hand side. The technical curiosity is undeniable, the efficiency affirmed, but it comes at a high price.
