To accompany the release of Julie Wood 's new album (season 2 volume 1 -Mortel rodéo), BMW France presents a limited edition R 12. A great way to promote the adventures of Michel Vaillant's "cousin" and offer a sequel to the 2019 NineT Scrambler Vaillante.

And yes, this isn't the first time Béhème has highlighted a Jean Graton character. This time, glitter and rhinestones take center stage on the bike, with a silver background crossed by stylized blue and red stripes. The decor was created by Stéphane Brun, who had already been commissioned for the "Vaillante", and was inspired by Julie's helmet and its very American accents.

The show and the dowry

The tank specifies the exclusivity of this model. Only 15 examples will be sold.
In addition to its stunning appearance, this R12 was enriched by a number of other features:

• Black spoked wheels from the Option 719 collection
• A tachometer to complement the original one
• A passenger kit
• Exhaust design with chrome-plated header pipes and polished conical silencers
• The PRO finish, including tire pressure monitoring, alarm, Pro cornering lights, heated grips, cruise control, shifter and hill-start assist

So much glamour and delicate attention with this Julie..... with this R 12 Julie Wood. But it comes with a hefty price tag: 6,500 euros more, which puts it not far behind a certain R 12 S - also playing on iconic temptation.

This special edition will begin its induction tour at the Rétromobile show from February 5 to 9, then move straight on to the S2R show in Lyon from February 13 to 16. Then, to highlight the comic-bike duo, each BMW Motorrad dealership will receive an exclusive copy of the "Mortel Rodéo" album.

But what happens in this new comic book?

Young Julie Wood lives with her two brothers, Indy and Phil, in the home of their Uncle Chris, a mechanic who has taken them in since the death of their parents. Addicted to Flat Track? the motorcycle cross discipline through which she hopes to break onto the pro circuit? Julie hangs out with her biker buddies, but also on social networks, where she posts videos for her community. But this daily routine, full of dreams and runs, is suddenly thrown into turmoil by a visit from two policemen. A certain Mason Green, a biker murdered during an urban rodeo in Los Angeles, had a strange message on his cell phone about the Wood family. This may shed new light on the disappearance of Julie's parents...
