presentation of the 1200 R NineT Scrambler 'Vaillante' 2019
in the neo-retro segment, the NineT is a master stroke. Two of its variants are suitable for all kinds of customization. The Pure lets you express your passion, while the Scrambler is more geared towards urban adventurers.
BMW France has chosen the second variant to celebrate the latest adventures of Michel Vaillant. The cartoon hero pursues speed and chrono in Macau, while this NineT limited series will come to life in just 13 examples. A reference to Michel Vaillant's favorite racing number. The Scrambler will be produced on request through the BMW Motorrad France dealer network. The latter will make use of its customization know-how to produce each model in its workshops.
The design of this limited series has been entrusted to Stéphane Brun, already behind the BMW Z4 GT3 "Vaillante". The central personalization element is the white fuel tank, on which the famous "VROOW" is painted in bluish-grey, faithful to the comic-book style, accompanied by two "Vaillante" inscriptions. This exclusive painting is enhanced by a numbered plate produced by B.R.M Chronographes. In addition to the special attention paid to the fuel tank, the motorcycle is equipped with a host of features from the Béhème catalog, decorated in Michel Vaillant colors: scrambler-type windscreen, protective grille for the front headlight adorned with the letter "V", logos, #13 number plates, single-seater saddle with skirt, spoked rims... Enough to charm its "cousin" Julie Wood.
The BMW R Nine T Scrambler Vaillante was presented to the public at the Salon du 2 roues de Lyon (March 14 to 17, 2019). Afterwards, enthusiasts can contact their local dealership to request one of the celebrated 13s.
