Way over there, in the distance, lies the end of the road, the conclusion of a stage, the completion of the kilometers…… And that’s precisely where the R 1300 GS Adventure Aurum Edition really comes into its own. The BMW branch in the Netherlands is introducing a limited edition of about 100 fully equipped GSA models, ready to take on any travel adventure.
Like its counterpart, the R 1300 GS Aurum, this version is based on the “Triple Black” style variant and comes fully equipped for long-distance travel and demanding adventures.
Standard equipment includes the Touring, Dynamic, and Innovation packages, as well as adaptive ride height adjustment, the Automated Shift Assistant (ASA), a top case mount, an anti-theft alarm, and gold-colored cross-spoke wheels.
For the rider, this equipment translates to enhanced comfort, control, and ease of use in a variety of conditions. The packages and rider-assistance systems support both dynamic riding and long-distance touring, while options such as adaptive ride height adjustment and the automated shift assistant enhance rider confidence and comfort.
This adventure-focused configuration is complemented by a black engine skid plate, black cylinder head covers integrated into the skid bars, gold radiator trim, “Option 719” footrests ” footrests (including brake and gearshift levers), a tinted windshield, tinted deflectors, and a three-piece aluminum luggage set.
The R 1300 GS Adventure Aurum Edition features exclusive “Aurum Edition” details, including special decorative elements, a unique seat with an Alcantara-style finish, and a custom “1 of 100” badge on the handlebars.
