Nürburgring! !! That name sends lap times into a tailspin. The German circuit has long since transcended its original purpose, becoming a benchmark (and a source of pride) for many manufacturers. BMW is launching a special edition of its M 1000 RR to celebrate the track’s 100th anniversary.
This Bavarian Superbike features a painted fuel tank adorned with the silhouette of the Nordschleife, an anniversary-themed airbox cover bearing the unique “one of 100” marking, carbon fiber wheels with Nürburgring Green accents, and an Alcantara-look seat embroidered with the number “100.” Black accents, notably the rear swingarm and the rear frame loop, round out the look.
The package also includes the M Track Package, an M Cover Kit, an exclusive M motorcycle mat featuring the “100 Jahre Nürburgring” logo, and a workshop stand for the rear wheel. Each model is limited to 100 units worldwide.
On the automotive side, the Nürburgring also takes center stage. Its sport models—the M2, BMW M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupe, M5 Sedan, and M5 Touring—also feature this forest-green color scheme along with a whole range of custom elements.

At 20.8 kilometers long with 73 turns, significant elevation changes, and varied track characteristics, the Nordschleife is considered one of the most demanding circuits in the world. The connection between BMW’s motorcycle division and the Nürburgring dates back to 1927, when the brand scored its first victory on the circuit with a 500 R47.
