presentation of the S 1000 RR Superstock Limited Edition 2011

in creating its first hypersport, BMW also created the new scarecrow of the category. A colossally powerful machine that wins (almost) everything: comparos, French Superbike, World Superstock. In the 2010 season, Ayrton Badovini took 9 wins and one second place... out of 10 races; almost a perfect score. To honour this championship, BMW Italia presents a special series logically named Superstock Limited Edition. The dress in the colors of the 2010 STK champion team will delight enthusiasts, championship fans will be delighted to find Badovini's n°86, as well as the various decals on the missile's fairing, and efficiency enthusiasts will delight in the various on-board parts. From Beheme's HP department, we find a shifter, swingarm protectors and carbon trim pieces, remote controls, tapered LED indicators, folding racing levers, a pair of sporty Racetec K3 tires, and an Akrapovic muffler.

this edition of the S 1000 RR is a single-seater version, but the passenger kit (seat and footrests) will still be supplied with it. Like the other Munich sports bikes, it will be manufactured by BM, and the various HP parts assembled by BMW Italia. A total of 50 units will be marketed, each bearing an identification plate on the tank.
There are just two little problems with this S 1000 RR STK L.E.: firstly, it costs 17,000 euros. Secondly, it will only be sold in Italy.
