presentation of the R 1200 GS TT 2011
some people want to go further than their bikes can go... So others have improved certain bikes to go as far as these adventurers want. The R 1200 GS TT was born of this idea. I say 'them' because, although only 50 will be built, these super-adventure extrapolations of the BMW R 1200 GS will be available in 3 versions: Voyageur - Baroudeur - Explorateur.
TT for off-road? No, for Transcontinental Touratech. This motorcycle was created to cross Africa from one end to the other with complete autonomy. Based on the R 1200 GS Adventure, the T3 agency (specialized in transcontinental motorized adventures) designed this long-distance adventurer. Its equipment comes from Touratech and BMW Motorrad, and for the tests, some 10,000 km were covered to validate the technical choices and equipment. With this limited edition, marketed by the Moto Passion dealership in Périgueux, the concept of travel reaches its apogee: come to the dealership with a cheque and a passport, and you can set off for any point on the African continent.
