presentation of the R 1200 GS Exclusive 2017

After the major changes the 1200 GS underwent in 2013 (partial liquid cooling, integrated gearbox, greatly enhanced electronics, increased power), there was no urgent need for a major upgrade. However, to meet standards, a few tweaks were necessary. In addition to a revised fuel injection and exhaust system, the most famous of all trails is now available in three cosmetic versions.

for the more adventurous, there's a Rally version... which can only be truly appreciated by dipping into the options catalog. Then there's the Exclusive version, which is more sophisticated and features a number of details that add a touch of refinement.
The R 1200 GS Exclusive starts with a specific color scheme, complete with a large logo painted on the fuel tank. As on the Rally, the radiator caps are in stainless steel. Grey frame, black driveline and gold brake calipers complete the look.

exclusive is more a specific design than a level of finish. No extra options or real differences. In any case, you'll inevitably be tempted to take a look at the packs, to discover the Pro Driving Modes, hill-start assist, ESA Dynamic Next Generation controlled suspension with level control, Shifter Pro, keyless system, etc., or settle for the Exclusive.... or settle for the essentials with a pair of suitcases and heated handgrips.

French Model 2017
A great 2018 motorcycle that I've had for three years.
The three packages plus the alarm.
The suspension can take a little while to adjust itself when I'm riding with a passenger.
Otherwise, as always, it's a real joy to ride.
Rating : 5/5
French 0hilgood Model 2018
Very good bike a little heavy 244 kg 15 too much Rating : 4/5
Trail polyvalent
A good trail with this beautiful color that gives an exclusive side that brings nothing special apart from the different parts of black and gold colors. Oh yes! A comfortable saddle! What else ?! Rating : 4/5
