Motorcycle specifications BuellXB-9S X LIGHTNING City Cross 2007 She ate an i-mac

with a Buell, you've already got what it takes to get noticed and gorge yourself on very typical sensations. The standard XB-9S seems to have had adventures with an i-mac (Apple's computer), as an X version appears. The chassis and engine remain unchanged. In terms of looks, this scoundrel of a bike gains a windscreen and a translucent blue plastic airbox cover. Why did Buell name it City-Cross? Because it's got some off-road tricks that make it look a little meaner and more adventurous. A protective grille on the headlights, cross handlebars and handguards, and our roadster is ready to emulate the city. The XB-12S pulley and belt, a new seat and black rims are also featured. The XB-9SX will be available in a single techno blue color: .
Its name indicates its playground: the city. Venture out with the rumble of Harley's big V2. You scan the streets with a high-set gaze, just like the seat, which is a little reminiscent of a supermotard. But you've got to have long legs, because at 850 mm in height, the saddle isn't for everyone. Despite its name, the XB-9S City Cross wades more than it weaves through urban traffic. It's handicapped by an engine that isn't very full at low revs, a gearbox that seems to be stuck in fresh cement, a permanent fan noise that swells, not to mention the turning radius... The best way to turn around is to use a parking lot.
OK, so much for the city. Outside, on the other hand, the picture is much nicer. With its tiny size and original yet efficient chassis, the Buell is a delight to ride on winding roads in the French countryside. Once in the mid-range, the twin becomes very pleasant. You can then take full advantage of this American machine. Nimble as can be, bluffly efficient, the bike allows you to adopt a sporty pace and discover other sensations: those born of Erik Buell's imagination. Would you like to ride an atypical machine with a quirky design and special technical solutions?

First of all, I'd like to say that motoplanete's test is absolutely right, except for one sentence:
\"What handicaps it: an engine that's not supercharged at low revs, a gearbox that seems bogged down in fresh cement".
On the contrary, this engine picks up at very low revs without a hitch! I can't understand this criticism... As for the gearbox, while not excellent, it plays its part.
My personal opinion: Excellent motorcycle in terms of engine and chassis. Surprisingly, the "bulle\" does its job well, it's playful, full at all revs, in short, I'm not going to repeat what has already been said many times !
As for complaints, apart from the great classics \"duo not top, difficult to travel etc...\" that you can't really reproach it for, this bike isn't made for that... No, what I would criticize about this bike is... The finish: one drop of petrol on the plastic and bim, a big stain, one too many screws in the same plastic and it breaks... The speed sensor often acts up if you don't clean it (speed stays at 0), trip meter and clock reset to 0 if you disconnect the battery, crappy seat to take off and put back on etc...
To conclude: Excellent bike! But... Lots of buts... Rating : 4/5 Respond to Niklos
great bike if you like to get noticed Rating : 5/5 Respond to zede
