presentation of the M2 1200 Cyclone 1997
With this entry-level model from the agitating American brand, there's no room for half-measures. The powertrain comes from Harley, but after a short passage through Buell's workshops, the 1200 cm3 twin delivers 50% more power. Enclosed in a rigid frame supported by excellent suspension, the cocktail promises to be very interesting. And since Erik Buell doesn't do anything like everyone else, he's given the Cyclone a special dress, from which a huge airbox is trying to escape.
not necessarily graceful, but it rocks. The windmill bursts into flames, pouring out great rations of emotion. Too bad the gearbox can't keep up. As for the chassis, it's perfectly up to the task, as is the braking provided by an impressive disc. Combined with a 6-piston caliper, the power is more than sufficient, but requires some skill on wet roads. Handling is exemplary, but the whole machine is very sensitive to settings as soon as you venture onto bumpy roads. It's best to opt for beautiful billiards, where you can take full advantage of the American temperament and eccentricity of this surprising machine.
