presentation of the Halo 2019
Canadian start-up Damon presents an electric motorcycle concept that's quite different from all recent creations. Racy, futuristic, intriguing, the Halo could receive both praise and disapproval if the company had revealed the technical essence of its machine. The mystery is total, focusing on the intelligence of this prototype.
Damon wants to reduce the vulnerability of motorcyclists while improving human-vehicle interaction. The welcoming Halo allows the rider to optimize ergonomics by adjusting the seat, handlebars, footrests and bubble. All this to break the ice... and then show off its state-of-the-art technology. The bike is equipped with 360° radars, 1080p cameras, multiple sensors, 5G / WiFi / Bluetooth connectivity, and several warning systems: the handlebars vibrate in the event of danger, and LEDs light up in the event of a presence in the blind spot.

Damon was created by Jay Giraud and Dominique Kwong - two names still unknown to the general public, but who have put together an ingenious team. At the heart of the team is Erik Buell, an industry consultant with a proven track record in the motorcycle world.
Promising a safer world as early as 2030, the Halo isn't so prolix when it comes to its capabilities. Power, autonomy, recharging, weight, performance... these are just a few of the more relative priorities.
