presentation of the 1198 R Special Edition CORSE 2010
the Bologna-based company presents limited editions of its Superbikes: the 1198 S Corse and 1198 R Corse Special Edition. In addition to the factory-standard 2 mm-thick brushed aluminum tank, these series feature a very specicial decoration, designed to celebrate the new DUCATI CORSE racing logo and the brand's championship titles. On the fairing panels and front mudguard, not black paint but carbon has been left exposed for even greater appreciation. The 1198 Rnous is just as stylish and colorful underneath as ever: Öhlins at every level, Ducati Traction Control, SBK chassis... and a little more. Supplied with a competition kit consisting of racing mufflers and a special chip, the 1198 spits out 186 horsepower, for track use only. The bike loses a further 1 kilo, while its fuel tank now cubes 18 liters. 164 kilos on the scales. Drudi gets involved by designing the exclusive cover supplied in the pack. The price starts to climb again - better not to take a look.

can a ducati 1198 rider tell me how many revs/minute a ducati 1198 engine runs at maximum? Rating : 5/5 Respond to hoyle
OK, the 1198 R is very powerful, especially for a twin, but let's stop talking nonsense. In production, it's over 180 hp, but it's still a long way from the power of a MotoGP bike
Still, a superb bike. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Ducatiste38
248 hp Rating : 5/5 Respond to hoyle
for a twin-cylinder, it develops a lot of power (220hp at 13,000 rpm full power)
colors match its lineage (red, black, white)
in a word, a racy machine that just begs to be ridden Rating : 5/5 Respond to hoyle
