presentation of the Multistrada 1200 S Touring 2012
when the Multistrada decides to go touring, it's a home-made cocktail of superbike, cross-country roads and plenty of equipment. A trail bike powered by 150 hp is already an intimidating and generous concept. In the S Touring version, it approaches the exceptional. The Ducati is equipped with a set of body-colored panniers offering 57 liters, a pair of heated grips, a center stand, ABS as standard, traction control, and top-of-the-range electronically controlled suspension.
in S and S Touring versions, this trail takes high-tech to the next level. Both fork and shock absorber are by Öhlins. These components are equipped with small servo-motors for adjustment. No more screwdrivers or headaches, as everything is controlled from the dashboard. Choose one of the 4 available modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro) and the electronic control unit adjusts not only the suspension, but also engine management, DTC and throttle response. The rider can also select 4 other configuration options depending on the crew on board: depending on whether you're traveling alone, accompanied, and/or with luggage, the internal computer allows you to select from: solo, solo with luggage, rider and passenger, rider and passenger with luggage. An à la carte motorcycle that commands a premium price. But you won't find another trail bike of this caliber, with so much power, so much luggage, a sense of improvisation sprinkled with electronics, a strong character and formidable velocity, anywhere else on the market.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 2 reviews
Excellent comfort with no compromise on performance. What a bike! I'm back to having the same fun I had on my first rides years ago. The engine is a delight, with a character and sound that makes me smile with every acceleration. The chassis is rigid, and the suspension works wonderfully, although firmer springs would be appreciated for duo rides with luggage.
All in all, I love it. I can't even imagine what other bike I could replace it with.
Worth a try, but beware: trying it out will certainly get the cheque book out :) Rating : 5/5 Respond to TiOui
