Motorcycle specifications DucatiDIAVEL 1200 Titanium 2015 The Devil Wears Prada

No early fustigation... We'd be hard-pressed to see Meryl Streep or Anne Hathaway* on this posh version of the mean Italian roadster. The Diavel is Ducati's dragster, the high-class cannonball, the bike you gently set down in front of a yacht and furiously start up in Las Vegas. And here, it's a great excuse to treat yourself to a machine that's all muscle and refinement. The Diavel Titanium is even more premium than the Carbon, with noble materials and even more rage under control.
with its complementary name and Ducati's "artisanal" approach, this special edition was bound to include a few titanium components. This noble material was once used for SR-71 Blackbird aircraft or Russian attack submarines. But there's no cold war here, just the warmth of luxury. Titanium is used for the headlight cap and the outer layer of the fuel tank.
For the seat cover, two elements coexist: a titanium insert and a carbon trim. This fiber is used extensively on this Diavel, for mudguards, radiator covers, the pinion cover, an outdated trim piece for the fuel filler cap and a carbon-fibre cover for the front grill.and LCD screen, the mini windscreen and redesigned forced-air intakes (specific to this version). This Diavel also gets its own forged aluminum wheels, a black chrome frame, black Zircotec ceramic exhaust pipes and a luxurious seat combining leather, alcantara and red stitching.
the engine and electronics remain unchanged. The Ducat's velocity is assured by the big Testastretta 11° twin with 162 hp, over 13 mkg of torque and enough to make sensors and software work. No less than Ride-by-wire, 8-step traction control, ABS, riding modes and keyless start are present between the right hand and the rear wheel.
This Diavel 1200 Titanium no longer smells of gunpowder, but of society parties, even if it means showing off the Rolex before smoking the big 240 rear to boost adrenaline levels. As with any series that smells of prestige, this one will only be produced in limited numbers. 500 examples, each authenticated by a numbered plate on the tank. The price tag is pretty steep, too.
