presentation of the Scrambler 1100 Pro Dark 2021
Ducati has added a new member to its "Dark" family. This nocturnal, entry-level finish is now joined by the latest version of the Scrambler, the 1100 Pro.
The 800 was already familiar with it, as were so many other Ducatis before it. The approach is simple: go for matte black, sacrifice the colors, offer the essentials and keep the price down. In the case of the 1100, no less than 1,100 euros are saved in the process. A nice match.
Basically, it's a nice idea for those who want to ride a Scrambler Pro, and only a Scrambler Pro. Take advantage of the big old desmo twin, a little more powerful and a lot more torquey than the 803 cm3. In terms of form, we lose a little of the joy, lightness and slightly serious "pep" that the big Scrambler conveys in its other versions. But, as the manufacturer points out, it can make a good basis for customization.

The 1100 Scrambler Dark Pro doesn't give in to gloom, however. Anodized aluminum parts are judiciously affixed, Ducat character is in the guts, and its neo-retro face still makes an impact.
Euro5-approved since the introduction of the Pro sub-family, the twin-cylinder engine still boasts 86 hp and 9 mkg of torque. The raised exhaust system with twin mufflers, large handlebars and cobblestone tires justify the bike's name; the trellis frame maintains the Ducati tradition ; the Brembo equipment with M 4.32B 4-piston radial calipers on 320 mm discs, and an inverted Marzocchi fork, the bike's electronics include curve-active ABS, three riding modes (City - Journey - Active), traction control and the ever-practical USB port.
Same content, same container, fewer colors, lower price - the equation is simple. The Scrambler 1100 Pro Dark completes the family, while seeking to appeal to a slightly broader or more hesitant audience.
