Motorcycle specifications Harley-DavidsonPan America Limited 1250 2026 A marriage between Harley and Hummer?
presentation of the Pan America Limited 1250 2026
One thing is certain and absolute: the 1250 Pan America is a major event in the history of Harley-Davidson. It is the brand's first trail bike, the first model to deliver as much power as a big roadster or a good sports bike, and whether it is successful or not, whether people like it or not, whether it crawls or not, its mark is indelibly etched.
In fact, MoCo has no qualms about showing it off in several different guises. Here is the Limited version. A new episode that feels even more like touring. It is a direct descendant of the CVO model, from which it borrows quite a few elements but subtracts the luxurious embellishments. No striking paintwork, more discretion, and above all, an eye fixed on adventure.
A long-range trail bike
The Pan America Limited is based on the Special version, enhanced with a trio of aluminum luggage (designed with SW-Motech). Admittedly, this makes the rear look heavier. Except that with its original profile of a pressed steel cabinet, the addition of cupboards is almost appropriate. Finally, we have Captain Karcass's motorcycle.
No more need for a backpack. You'll have a total of 120 liters of storage space at your disposal. 38 in the top case, 37 in the right pannier and 45 in the left.
What else has it taken from the CVO? Well, its large aluminum skid plate, its Up&Down shifter, a radiator guard, its spoked wheels, its additional headlights, and its adjustable foot controls.
The crash bars, hand guards, center stand, and a whole host of comfort features come from the Special.

The Pan's feisty twin hasn't really changed. It's an engine with a philosophy very different from that of American Big Blocks, with plenty of torque, a much sportier temperament, and power that takes off instead of "pushing" the machine. Its 150 horsepower is surprising and fits in quite well with the maxi-trail trend.
A small detail is that it delivers 129 Nm of torque here, while the Special has 128 Nm and the ST has 127. Is this a specific calibration for each model or purely a marketing difference to establish a "hierarchy"?
These few Nm won't make any difference whatsoever. On the other hand, weight will have more influence. With all its equipment, the Pan America Limited weighs in at 299 kg. That's 53 kg more than the ST. Enough to slow down acceleration a little and encourage a slightly less daring riding style.
The big dose
The Brembo radial piston brakes will have a little more work to do. As for the ride itself, it will be at the mercy of everything Harley has managed to cram into this trail bike. What a beast! It features nine riding modes, cornering ABS, semi-active suspension with automatic lowering, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, electronic linked braking, hill start assist, wheelie control, torque feedback management, adjustable windshield and seat, heated grips, adaptive cornering lights, smartphone pairing, 6.8-inch color TFT screen, cruise control, USB-C port... a true full-option GS spec sheet.

The price is also similar. This Harley-Davidson 1250 Pan America Limited costs just under the CVO and almost $7,000 more than its two siblings. This does not take into account an important factor: differentiation. With the Pan America, you're riding a trail bike that's different from the rest; you have a Harley that's different from the rest.
