presentation of the 1690 DYNA STREET BOB Special Edition FXDBA 2013
okay, I can see you coming, especially the detractors: "Another series that's special in name only... Two daubs of paint and snap, it's all wrapped up." No, ladies and gentlemen! This Street Bob is much more than just a splash of red on the rims. Granted, some manufacturers misuse a pompous name to justify an additional color in the range. The 1690 FXDBA is not one of them.
by tilting on the aforementioned displacement, some have already figured it out. The Twin Cam on board is not the 1584 cm3 (96 ci) as in the standard Street Bob, but the paunchy 1690 cm3 (103 ci). More powerful, it offers more fat, more character, and half a kg more torque. As long as you can jump, why bother? To further distinguish it from the rest, it features an ovalized air filter cover.
let's come back to this color, which is also worth the trip. A formidable combination: "Red Steel Laced" for the spoked wheels, contrasting with the "Big Blue Pearl" of the bodywork. A few "flamming" effects on the fuel tank and you're in for a Hot Wheels-style vertigo of color. A good dose of "Vivid Black" to digest and the Street Bob S.E. takes you on the road to Hogger.
Apart from its larger displacement, this Dyna retains the technical and practical aspects of the basic Street Bob: mini ape-hanger handlebars, bachelor seat, truncated rear mudguard and minimalist front end, rear light in the indicators, 49 mm forks and 2 side shocks. ABS is standard, as is the coded key.
while Harley's luxury models come from the CVO, this special Street Bob comes from the Customization department. Exceptionally, it will not be available in the USA. This model will only be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. And in limited numbers.

on the other hand, it replaces the 2014 special edition (the two-tone one that already set the tone) and not the 2012, so it looks like the next one will be for 2019... Rating : 5/5 Respond to Landrax
