This Street Bob is much more than just a splash of red on the rims. Granted, some manufacturers misuse a pompous name to justify an additional color in the range. The 1690 FXDBA is not one of them.

while Harley's luxury models come from the CVO, this special Street Bob comes from the Customization department. Exceptionally, it will not be available in the USA. This model will only be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. And in limited numbers.

What a gorgeous bike! I used to have a 1987 Sportster and a 1977 Shovelhead a few years ago. I bought this one a year ago, and it’s a mix of the two. I’ve been retired for a year now. It’s a real joy for me—I’m customizing it a bit: sissy bar, solo seat and footrest, inverted mirrors, and small Glide turn signals. It looks great and is totally my style. You have to buy this bike for what it is, and more importantly, what it's not. Let's start with the negatives: an ignominious tapping, just satisfactory handling (panic in the rain) and decent braking (which I'm told is excellent for an HD)..the positives: an engine you fall in love with immediately, the impression of riding an ancestor with sensation at every level.
