Motorcycle specifications Harley-DavidsonCVO 1800 ROAD KING FLHRSE 2014 Her Majesty's debauchery

the Harley-Davidson Road King loves to take to the highways in classic style. A timeless cruiser, as comfortable in the 20th century as it is serene in the 21st. In its CVO version, discretion is forgotten to make it a motorcycle brimming with luxury, but without collapsing underneath like a CVO Electra. Sublime paintwork and top-of-the-range features take the owner into another dimension. And that huge engine... the biggest you'll find in the range. The beefy Twin Cam in Screamin' Eagle 110 ci version knows how to make you appreciate every beat. It's even polite enough not to express jealousy when some of its cousins are equipped with the ultimate Twin Cooled version or an upgraded 103 ci in High Output configuration. No matter: its personality, its 1801 cm3 of fat and steel, its 16 mkg of torque and its new Heavy Breather air filter are enough to charm anyone.
technology is now much more at the service of the user, thanks to the Rushmore project. What is Rushmore? A gigantic effort to listen to the customer's needs and improve the riding experience and comfort. On the chassis side, the fork has been increased to 49 mm for greater rigidity; the brakes are equipped with ABS and the Reflex system, which optimizes braking force between front and rear.
a new clutch control reduces lever effort despite firmer springs. In the classic Hiawatha headlamp pod, a set of dual headlamps and halogen fog lamps pierce the night, boasting 986 lumens.
Comfort is a top priority for the CVO Road King. The removable Vented Wind Splitter, heated Slipstream grips, more ergonomic handlebars, cruise control, a new saddle with tuck-and-roll leather trim, Harley's safety system and larger saddlebags with One-Touch system all bear witness to this. A simple touch locks and unlocks the saddlebags or fuel filler cap.
There's no shortage of style, with Mirror Chrome Agitator Custom wheels to match the front brake disc, black-painted components (handlebars, controls, mirrors) and a feel of preparation-level quality.

As I wrote on 24/09, I've fallen for the anniversary model. Small detail: don't be in a hurry about delivery times. Still nothing after 6 months... The dealership doesn't know and my letters to the head office have gone unanswered.
Too bad, it spoils the euphoria of last September. To be continued... Rating : 1/5 Respond to Bwebwe
The road king: more traditional look. CVO version rarer than the road glide (2009-2012 and 2013)
No radio, just an iPod playlist. A little less expensive. Easier to resell later. New windshield...
The road glide: smoother steering due to its front bubble attached to the frame rather than the fork, more instrumentation, less easy to resell because it's an "unloved" motorcycle among some harleyists.
There are tons of things to say about these 2 bikes... And a little birdie tells me you'll have to hurry if you want a road king. I think it's already sold out in its 110th anniversary CVO version. Deliveries are scheduled between March and June for orders placed since September. 9 months of waiting!
I confess I'm crossing my fingers every day that this information is wrong...
Best regards. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Bwebwe
I chose the blue version ( sapphire crushed ) .
In american ceoncession I saw the anniversary version, pretty but too dark for my taste :)
The windshield is really weird, but surely very effective, and then it removes in a second to find a modernized Roadking look ( no passing lamps ) .
Can't wait :)

- Price... What's more, the decision-makers at the Milwaukee firm (who are far from stupid and uneducated in terms of marketing...) had the "rich" idea of increasing the price of the 110th anniversary version by an extra 1000â'¬. All to get a number on the tank and a black paint job... You'll have to explain to me why black is more expensive than sequined red... lol. And how is this 1000â'¬ justified?
If not, of course, that demand and resales are always easier on these neutral colors. A promotion on unsaleable colors? And intelligent positioning that pays off right from the start? Les enf.....
Well...
That didn't stop me from writing a check this week. But hey... Passion and reason are 2 incompatible things and perpetually synonymous with choices in life.
Delivery 4 to 6 months from today, so the sleepless nights are going to be long.
