Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1920 Softail Low Rider S FXLRS 2022 A California storm

presentation of the 1920 Softail Low Rider S FXLRS 2022
The Low Rider S enters its 3rd generation, with the return of its exceptional side: a huge engine, even bigger than that of the manufacturer's other custom bikes. With it, it's thunder in the bowels and rebellion on the road.
3rd... if you like. In any case, it's a far less profound evolution than was the case between the first model and its successor. Between the two, changes were made to the frame, fork, engine (from Twin Cam to Milwaukee Eight), rims, etc. It's less obvious here, where the main change concerns engine displacement. But be warned, we're moving on to something stronger, but also more symbolic.
The Low Rider S is the only Harley cruiser to rumble with the CVO twin. Yet it's not the prestige aspect that encouraged him to opt for this 1923cc engine, but the grip it will give him. Hand-sized bowls, 8 breathing ports, a Heavy Breather air filter that threatens like an enlarged cyst, and a high-performance camshaft sound the charge. With the M8 117 ci, the American sends 17.1 mkg of torque from 3500 rpm.
You should be able to uproot a tree with this. Power is not to be outdone, with 105 hp, the highest value available with this block. Thus powered, the Low Rider S offers the best power-to-weight ratio of any model equipped with a Milwaukee Eight. All around, the main components of the chassis are identical to those of theex-Low Rider 114. The Softail frame is combined with a 43 mm inverted fork, 19" and 16" bronze wheels, 300 mm brake discs at the front / 1 292 mm disc at the rear, and a shock absorber hidden under the seat.
The instrumentation has been more than modified - it's migrated. There's not much left of the console on the tank, apart from an FXLRS badge. The indications are displayed in a small circular handset now mounted on the handlebars. All headlights are now LED.
The 117 Low Rider S didn't come alone. An ST version has been added to the catalog, in "Club" style, with a vintage fork head and a pair of suitcases. The travel version, as it were.
As dark as ever, this power cruiser isn't about manners or lace. Let's grab the Drag Bar handlebars and make the Scorcher tires suffer under the Big Twin's onslaught. We wouldn't be surprised to see a little steel drool belch from its jaws.
