presentation of the XL 750 Transalp SP 2026
In this SP edition, the 750 Transalp has no desire to wear sneakers. It clearly wants to get off the road and into trouble, and enjoy off-roading without restraint. Honda England has come up with this special series to kick off 2026 with gusto, pebbles and rock defenestration.
Reserved for the UK market, the Transalp SP exudes desire and looks good. Its deco kit gives much greater depth to the machine's colors and theme. It's as if the contrast slider had shifted sharply on the persistence of vision. It's striking and Honda-like.
The virtue of this SP edition is not an increase in performance - the twin remains at 92 hp and the chassis is unchanged - but much greater protection. Honda UK dips into the accessories catalog to surround the Transalp with safety. A 2.5 mm thick aluminum engine cover is fitted, with a strong emphasis on robustness, tubular stainless steel crankcase guards to protect the engine, and a set of high crash-bars to protect the machine's torso.
Baroud of the Transalp 2025
A good way to clear out warehouses, as this SP is not derived from the 2026 version and will therefore not benefit from the optional E-Clutch or suspension upgrades. It will only be available while stocks last, at a very moderate extra cost. It costs an extra £600, while the entire equipment package is worth more than double that.
The only drawbacks are the absence of handguards and a dozen extra kilos with all the gear.
For the others

This Transalp SP looks exactly like an identical limited series (250 units) offered at the end of 2024 for Spain and Portugal.
For adventure enthusiasts, it wouldn't be out of place for Honda to consider the same idea for our country; as Suzuki does with the V-Strom 800DE Djebel and Rally Edition or, in the higher segment, Triumph's Tiger 900 Desert Edition and CFMOTO 1000 MT-X Crafted.
The British can now enjoy this successful all-round trail bike with more protection, a weight now exceeding 220 kilos, spoked wheels with real off-road dimensions, Showa suspension, 5 riding modes, several power modes, traction and engine braking controls, a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and serious Honda.
