Although the Honda CB 1100(EX and RS) has had a relatively low-profile career in France, it's still a handsome machine, conveying Honda nostalgia in a beautiful way. it could do with a little more personality. Honda England seized on the idea and entrusted the creation of a very special CB 1100 RS to 5Four Motorcycles. The idea was to transpose the spirit of the big endurance Hondas of the 80s. It doesn't become a café-racer, but it's not far off.

in any case, the lines have evolved towards a sportier look, with a small, homemade aluminum fork head, Renthal handlebars complete with Tomaselli grips, and a streamlined rear end. The latter has been completely redesigned, with all the clutter removed to leave only a headlight inlaid in a single-seat, hand-crafted aluminum shell. The rider benefits from a superb Alcantara embossed saddle adorned with topstitching.

the boss of 5Four wanted to pass on his passion in this limited series. Exactly 54 units, like the name of the box. In addition to the special parts found on this CB 1100 RS, the paintwork has been applied with care and without stickers. The Honda logo and its winged symbol are hand-painted. Other touches include racing levers, machined mirrors, polished aluminum footrests, a pair of Racefit titanium mufflers and a numbered 5Four badge inlaid in the rear shell.

it's a preparation to be desired. Each model will be made to order only, for a list price of £15,554; depending on the exchange rate, that's roughly equivalent to 17,600 euros. After that, you'll have to wait around three months to get your hands on it. Finally, as a reward for his patience, the future owner will receive his CB 1100 RS 5Four from Guy Willison himself, the company's founder.

in its own way, this machine commemorates the 50th anniversary of the CB 750. The legend, the beginning of a new era, the threat to European motorcycling.
