It seems to have traveled through time, filled its pockets, and is now flaunting its wealth with a sophisticated two-tone color scheme. And it's handmade. It takes more than 14 hours to apply this black and burgundy red coat encrusted with sequins.
All around, the Chief Vintage features numerous small details to reinforce the tribute:
- Anniversary inscriptions on the center console, engine covers, fuel tank, and rims
- A suspended seat with special stitching, patterns, and embroidery
- A badge in the center of the engine's V where the limited edition number is located.
Any good commemorative motorcycle should only be available in limited numbers. There will be 250 Chief Vintage 125 Th models. It costs €3,000 more than the standard model, but for this extra cost, you also get the Elite finish.
What more could you ask for? First, let's hear the huge air-cooled twin-cylinder engine roar to life. A healthy, powerful 1890 cc engine with a heavy sound and a powerful kick, proud to deliver almost 16 mkg of torque. We look at its trunk, we praise its pulse, we feel its guts kneading the metal to extract the belches of gasoline. The Chief wants to appreciate it as much as the crew; it may be the last generation to enjoy this type of engine, in the crosshairs of standards.
