presentation of the 1250 Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary Edition 2026
The United States gave birth to George Washington and Donald Trump (there's something fishy about those two...). But also NASA, the typewriter, chewing gum, the pen, Scrabble, the transistor...
Who cares! What are you getting at?
The fact that this nation also saw the emergence of Indian ( a quarter of a century ago) and the concept of the bobber. Mix all that together, add the special edition label, and you have the 125th Anniversary Scout Bobber.
Dark circles everywhere, minimalist fenders, big tires, a rogue visual character, a single brake disc to stop 246 kilos—it's the most rebellious of the family. Family indeed, because the 125th Anniversary collection consists of four members: the Scout Bobber, the Chief Vintage, the Challenger, and the Roadsmaster ( reserved for the other side of the Atlantic).
To present the tributes of the celebration, Indian brings a few convincing arguments. These include the embossed seat with an embroidered emblem, the same symbol on the rear fender, a reminder of the age on the sides of the tank and engine covers, a more technical Pathfinder headlight, new rims (inspired by those of the Sport Scout RT), and a much more elaborate finish.
The "Black Crystal" and "Anniversary Red" colors are hand-applied with glitter. It takes more than eight hours to complete the job. The team responsible for the work must be quite large, given that there will be 450 examples of this Scout Bobber 125 Anniversary. The sequential number in the series is marked on a plate between the two cylinders.
How powerful is the engine?
The 1250cc SpeedPlus engine poses a bit of a mystery. On the Scout Bobber, it produces 94 horsepower. Now let's look at North America. There, its power is calibrated to 105 hp. To give the Anniversary Edition more presence, Indian pushes it to 111 hp, the same power as the sporty Scout 101 model. So, 94 or 111 in our territory? Let's search, find, and accelerate!

A bobber is stripped down. You expect to find nothing but an engine and handlebars. On the Indian, it's a little more complex. It features three riding modes, traction control, keyless ignition, ABS, cruise control, a 4-inch circular color TFT screen with Ride Command software, GPS navigation and Bluetooth, a USB port, and full LED lighting.
These are features of the Limited + Tech trim. Based on this model, the 125th Anniversary Bobber costs an additional $2,100 for this commemorative model.
