presentation of the 1133 Scout Bobber Twenty 2021
The Scout Bobber takes advantage of its centenary to forge a more hardcore identity. In this Twenty version, it's fair to say that it doesn't go unnoticed. The Scout 100th Anniversary Special Series honors the birth of an emblematic motorcycle, and that's a conscious decision.
A little more bobber and a little chopper, the Twenty feels ready to take on the gangs. The name says it all, the look says it all. Its large, high Ape Hanger handlebars allow hands and elbows to caress the air, and tease the terrain of Sportster Forty Eight Special and Softail Street Bob. As rebellious as it is nostalgic, it makes a grand entrance with a suspended seat, spoked wheels, a chrome and black finish, three deep colors and a symptomatic emblem on the tank. While its 100 th cousin will be produced in limited series, the Scout Twenty is more intended to complete the family without worrying about such restrictions.
This Scout is the most expressive of the current line. The minimalist mudguards, headlamp cowling and presumptuous liquid-cooled V-twin are still there. Its cylinder heads are the star of the show, and so is its strength. While it doesn't have the character of the big air engines, bursting with metal and torque, it makes up for it with 94 horsepower in the connecting rods, a lively spirit and the kind of power you'd expect from a Spingfield.
