all custom bikes are blowing up. Following in the footsteps of the Honda 1800 VTX, and in competition with the Yamaha Road Star Warrior, Kawa is putting some cm3 back into its big sumo. The lines remain classic, and there's no mistaking that the chassis has been lengthened and lowered. The 1,600 is solidly built, with very little plastic on board, and its weight explodes with good, strong, heavy metal. No problem for the big twin, which takes the liner along without a care... but with a frustrating discretion: discreet, linear, and even devoiced by the mufflers that muffle everything. Despite the increase in displacement and power, it's important to remember that the 1600 is a machine to be respected and not rushed. Low ground clearance, less-than-praiseable rear suspension, a frame that's not really up to scratch, not to mention insane inertia when cornering... a smooth ride is highly recommended. This is where the big Kawasaki is at its best. Although lacking in thrills, the machine rides with ease, offering a natural riding position and sufficient comfort for two-up riding.

salut a tous , voila j'ai un 16 vn c'est ma 25 eme moto , j'ai eu de tout sportif , supermot 2t 4t , bbicylindre a 6 cylindres , et enfin le vn , l'age aidant peut être mais cette machine est un plaisir sur route position , road trip cool le sourire permanent , i'd have to say I've had almost no defaults, so if I had to say one, I'd say fuel consumption, but because you have to say one after the disappointments at kawa (zzr92 x2 and still the third cylinder), today I can say I love my caouette Rating : 4/5

i bought it new in february 2004, and it has taken me to work for our daily 200 km in all weather except icy conditions, and for my bi-monthly trips to my second home, 500 km away. it has 128,000 km and it still purrs at the first push of the start button. it's a bike that gives pleasure full throttle or at low speed. i love it titine!
