presentation of the W 800 Cafe Style 2012
now we're looking at a very nice café racer. Kawa has added a small series of accessories to the W 800 S.E to transform it in a beautiful way. The old-fashioned fork head, the mono seat with its superbly vintage padded backrest, the black color scheme with its rims and gold piping, it all smacks of an Englishwoman with a thirst for adventure. On the face of it, it's more style than authentic café-racer, which must wear wristbands. The presence of high handlebars betrays its roadster touring vocation. But when it comes to showing off, there's plenty of room on the terraces. Not very powerful, but super fun, the parallel twin puts a smile on every ride. The W 800's chassis is sound, the grip obvious, and the footrests rub without needing to provoke reckless optimism. Of course, when it comes to performance, it's vintage too...
