presentation of the W 800 Cafe Style 2013

now we're looking at a very nice café racer. Kawa has added a small series of accessories to the W 800 and its Special Edition version, transforming them in a beautiful way. The old-fashioned fork head, the mono seat with its superbly vintage padded backrest, the deliciously retro colors - it all smacks of a British girl with a thirst for adventure. On the face of it, it's more a case of style than authentic café-racer, who must wear wrist-mounted handlebars. The presence of high handlebars betrays its roadster touring vocation. But when it comes to showing off, there's plenty of room on the terraces. Not very powerful, but super fun, the parallel twin puts a smile on every ride. The W 800's chassis is sound, the grip obvious, and the footrests rub without needing to provoke reckless optimism. Of course, when it comes to performance, it's vintage too...

Dommage
French Model 2013
Typically the kind of bike made for our new limitations. It's all very well for Kawa to bring out a discontinued model. That they're charging us for the Euro 4 upgrade is much less so. 11,000â'¬ a piece Rating : 2/5
French Model 2013
In fact, it's strictly the same as the Kawa W1 from 1967-1975 or the W650 from 1999-2007. 2018, it's time to bring out the Neo-Surgelé... The problem is, even reheated and insipid, we keep coming back for more. Rating : 3/5
French Model 2013
i bought it because it reminded me of my Honda CB500, which I owned in the '70s.
we could add to the comment that, like all Kawas, the construction is sturdy and made to last.

une bête de course
French Model 2013
This subject is next to racing performance. The kawa is a real destroyer. If you haven't been able to get everything out of it, it's probably because you were born after 1960. This bike is a diabolical machine that nobody knows how to ride any more, because nobody knows how to ride today's motorcycles Rating : 4/5

In the classic edition, a little freed from the pots, you get the feel and versatility of before. And sometimes, it was better before. A bike that makes you want to start all over again, to live it all over again. Fascinating, with its faults as well as its qualities. I love it. Rating : 5/5

Great to read!
I own a 2012 SE and this is exactly it! I love this little one, at the height of my 23 springs!
