presentation of the W 800 Edition Speciale 2013
a very nice neo-retro machine, the W 800 is also available in a Special Edition livery.
Hold on, slow down, we're not getting carried away. No special equipment, inverted forks or racing parts, just a new color scheme. The 2013 model is less striking than its predecessor, but has a seductive patina. A candy-red coat that can't escape the tank. Only the chrome parts and rims escape the dark coat that covers most of the machine. The previously magnificently gilded spoked wheels have turned black; a pity. Some nice details have disappeared, such as the gold-colored piping on the fuel tank and the two-lion badge on the tank.but you'll be delighted to see the bevel gearing, the polished cylinder head fins, the elegant "800 SPECIAL EDITION" sign, and so on...
this color is available for a few euros more than the standard W 800. After that, all that's left to do is cruise along to the playful rhythm of the parallel-twin's 48 horsepower. No sport, no brutality, no angst, just charm and a bit of fun.
