Young, very young cross-country enthusiasts can access a few already lively machines to gain experience, and even more than that. The KX 65 takes the fun to the next level. Having been on the market for a number of years, the Kawasaki doesn't come across many people on its way, but it does cross swords with a worthy adversary: the KTM 65 SX. Faced with the European, the Japanese has to contend with less effective suspension in hard use and a more advanced engine. On the other hand, the KX boasts a much more reasonable price: almost 2/3 of the Katoche's, and a different operating budget too. With the green one, you learn, you master, you enjoy.
for the uninitiated, a 64 cm3 single may seem fair. Nonsense! With a 2-stroke, you can get a lot of watts out of it. And the Kawa engine is claimed to be more powerful than 125 4-stroke engines. It's enough to get you through greasy terrain, especially as the bike weighs just 60 kilos in the wet. A double-cradle steel frame, aluminum rims, 6-speed gearbox, front and rear disc brakes and a small 3.8-liter fuel tank all add up to a good afternoon's riding. Since 2018, the KX 65 has seen the arrival of a kiddie agitator in the valley, the Yamaha YZ 65.
