Motorcycle specifications KawasakiNINJA H2 SX SE + 2020 Wadding for a catapult

Hasty tourism has become a somewhat ambiguous notion. How can you enjoy a trip with peace of mind and speed when the road is bludgeoned by time, legislation, fashions and opinions? Kawasaki has responded with the H2 SX, which represents a real slap in the face of political correctness. So much the better! This is a machine for VERY fast touring. In addition to demonstrating the power it's capable of, this sport-GT ups the ante with semi-active suspension and a series of technical improvements. The H2 SX SE gains a plus. And it's a big plus.
imposing, the Kawasaki H2 SX is nothing like a svelte 650 Ninja. Its proportions let you know instantly that it's in a muscular class, with a confidence and presence capable of savagely pushing aside anything in front. A perfect figurehead for a Russian ice-breaker. On the other hand, the level of enjoyment is quite different; higher in road quality with the installation of KECS-controlled suspension elements.
Another nice acronym to simplify the extra layer of electronics. What's KECS? It stands for "Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension". The ZX-10R SE was the first to be equipped with it, taking the brand into the realm of semi-active damping. By analyzing the road profile and the dynamics of the motorcycle induced by the rider's motivations, KECS adjusts fork and shock settings in record time. The solenoid valves react in a thousandth of a second.
the H2 SX SE + adapts its damping in real time, smoothing the road and boosting comfort or sportiness, depending on the mode selected. Sport, Road, Rain, or Manual; complete with on-board load adjustment: 3 levels are available: pilot, pilot with luggage, pilot and passenger with luggage - and how do you do that when you've got a passenger and no luggage?!
How does KECS work? With a battery of components. It receives a whole range of information to calibrate the suspension, from fork and shock absorber travel sensors (every millisecond), from the inertial unit (every hundredth of a second) and from the fuel injection unit.
On the Showa 43 mm inverted fork, compression and rebound damping are electronically controlled; only preload is manual. As for the BFRC-Lite shock absorber, everything is managed by KECS. On the Hypersportive, preload at the rear can be fine-tuned with a tool.
to further justify its +, the Kawa of hypertourism takes pleasure in grabbing the best brake calipers currently available to the public, the Brembo Stylema. Lighter, more powerful and offering even more feel than the already acclaimed M50.
The bodywork features the new "self-healing" paint, capable of healing micro-scratches. As for the suitcases, which will soon be indispensable as the bike is so eager to visit everything, you'll have to check the options.
for many manufacturers, it's the sports bikes that take the best of the technology and the most accomplished foundations. At Kawa, it would seem that the H2 SX SE + is the flagship model. There's plenty of driver assistance, already standard on the H2 SX SE. Let's cut to the chase: 3-level traction control, four driving modes, Up&Down shifter, standing start assist, adaptive cornering light, KCMF cornering dynamics control, cornering ABS, KIBS optimized braking with anti-stoppie, KEBC engine brake control, two power modes.... Everything to reassure/optimize every outing. But not enough to make us forget the exceptional feel of the compressor. An energy grenade, perfect for letting emotion take precedence over reason when the turbine starts blowing hard.
200 horsepower, plenty of torque, but it's the way it all comes together that makes the H2 SX so special.
in addition to the not inconsiderable price rise, the + also means a 6-kilo increase in weight. The plumage respects the figures on the scales. With the right balance, the 262 kilos will soon be forgotten, but their presence shouldn't be overlooked either.
Having reached a technical pinnacle in the sport-GT segment, the 1000 H2 SX SE + stands at the pinnacle of this new category of road bikes: supercharged touring.

Same weight and power, 2mkg less torque, but a hefty 5,000 bales more than its more elaborate big sister: the 1400 ZZR Sport Performance (and almost 10,000 more than the base model, which offers the same power!)
For the track, the difference could be justified, but for touring?
No, I'm sorry, but I'm keeping my ZZR and its fearsome little effect in the rearview mirror (and in static too, for that matter!) Rating : 3/5 Respond to Suiscool
