presentation of the Ninja 650 Tourer 2020
Streamlined roadster , small sport-GT, touring hunter, Z 650 in running gear? The Ninja 650 plays a little or a lot on all these levels.
On this occasion, it's more than just a ride. Equipped as a Tourer, the Kawa wants to make everyday life more unpredictable.
Why is that? Because with its equipment, you can slip away for a moment of madness in the blink of an eye. Just pack a few things, head south and let the wheels dictate the route.
You can also plan your stay. All you have to do is work out what clothes or belongings you can fit in the 14-liter semi-rigid luggage compartments. It's not much, much less than a Versys Tourer and its 2x 28 liters. But it's enough to carry the essentials for an overnight stay or a snack.
Once you've gone a bit far, you'll appreciate a little extra comfort as the miles go by. Such is the case with the high bubble, always beneficial for the neck and fatigue.
Let's stay in the field of protection, but this time for the grinding wheel. A set of casing protectors will save it from damage in the event of a moderate fall. Also, a pair of stickers fixed to the low sides of the tank will prevent a few scratches.
It 's not just for escapades. This pack can almost replace a top-case for daily essentials, sports equipment or evening surprises. The Performance Kit costs an extra 850 euros to pack, which saves around 100 euros compared to all the accessories sold separately. A few full tanks saved.
