Sport touring

Bike , helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, adrenaline, raptor's eye - these are the essentials before setting off on a ride. Then, once you've started up the Ninja 6 and a half, you realize that its twin would be more enjoyable with a drier sound, more growl, a more rocky mood on the exhale. It's easy to see why Kawa offers a Performance version of its gentle Ninja.

Here, the start-up slams harder thanks to the appendix nestled under the belly. A complete titanium line manufactured by Akrapovic, finished with a carbon end cap. The result is a more virile soundtrack, 2,150 grams less weight and, under certain conditions, a Slovenian exhaust system that adds over 2 hp and almost 0.3 mkg. The original 649 cm3 block produces 68 horsepower.

The word Performance also inspires a more racy look. That's why the bubble is smoked and the rear end is radicalized with a color-matched seat cover. It's all about showing that you want to put some nerve in your right hand.
As there are many opportunities to open the jacket during the day (to check text messages, e-mails, FB, Insta, take a few photos, record the engine's tune...), a resin cover will protect the tank from the many approaches to the zipper.

And there's the smartphone. The rider can pair it with the Ninjette via Bluetooth. This makes it possible to interact with certain functions, once Rideology has been installed. The color TFT screen inlaid in the cockpit adds a cool high-tech touch. This is standard on all Ninja 650 models. As is the sporty look and the riding position, which is more comfortable-sport-GT than it looks.
