No, what's lacking is enough space to store all the gear for overnight stays and picnics. That's where the Tourer pack comes in to fill the gap that's been obsessing me since the start of this service. It begins with two 27-liter zipped bags, cut to the shape of the suitcases and anchored to the Versys' original brackets. Each hold holds 28 liters. So, yes, the suitcase interiors take up a bit of space, but they allow you to pack exactly what you need.

When you're traveling, there are plenty of opportunities for your belongings to slip onto the tank. Keys, smartphone, coins, hammer, jacket zipper... Small threats that the self-adhesive gel tank protector will take care of.
If space is ever at a premium, the Versys SE is also available in a Grand Tourer version with a high-capacity top-case.
