presentation of the 950 SUPER ENDURO R 2007
in Germany, the concept is called HP2, and it's a big potato version of the enduro. In Austria, KTM came up with the Super Enduro, a machine designed to rip up half a forest as you ride through it.
kTM's approach was to start with the 950 Adventure and then adapt the equipment to make a very sporty version of the enduro. The aim: to provide extreme enduro riders with a machine that uproots trees as they pass by, and incidentally, to take the piss out of the BMW HP2. To achieve this, the machine retains only the essentials and modifies the superfluous: tank reduced to 13 L and now made of plastic, fairing removed, Akrapovic pot, enduro suspension, adapted seat. While we're at it, we replace the wheels with Excell TT spoked rims surrounded by studded tires, remove a brake disc, add an engine block, give it a killer face and you get an authentic lumberjack bike. A 98-strong enduro weighing 185 kg. Gentlemen, it's your turn!
