the 2013 KTM 125 EXC is the ideal bike for youngsters in the E1 class, as well as for those who like extreme handling, minimum weight and low purchase and maintenance costs. Proven high performance is the benchmark in this class.
airbox
The airbox of the KTM 125 EXC offers the 2013 model maximum airflow for minimum dust or splash. The Twin-Air filter can be replaced in around 15 seconds, without tools. Absolutely "READY TO RACE".
frame
For its enduro models, KTM relies on high-quality, lightweight profiled frames made from chrome-molybdenum steel. Contrary to the trend towards aluminum frames seen in other manufacturers, we have equipped the 2013 KTM 125 EXC with a high-tech steel frame. More robust, but also approx. 0.5 kg (1.1 lb.) lighter than competitive frames. What's more, it's easier to maintain and offers more space for the fuel tank and other components. Combined with the PDS rear shock absorber, rear-wheel shocks are optimally absorbed and dissipated. The super-light one-piece cast-aluminum swingarm and its revolutionary geometry ensure absolute torsional rigidity and targeted flexibility for maximum damping comfort.
individual suspension adjustment
The KTM 125 EXC model year 2013 features individual suspension tuning perfectly matched to its weight and engine. at the rear, a WP Suspension PDS shock absorber with direct linkage above the swingarm. The fork's wide rebound range and Highspeed and Lowspeed compression damping are standard KTM features.
new fork tuning
The latest generation of fully adjustable 48 mm (1.89 in) Open Cartridge forks "Made in Austria" by WP Suspension guarantee the best behavior for more consistent damping properties. This is due in particular to the use of new fork oil and new fork O-rings.
high-quality wheels
High-quality CNC-machined hubs as standard on all KTM wheels. The new black spoke coating improves corrosion resistance and centers the new, extremely strong GIANT 7050 aluminum rims. New MAXXIS FIM tires specially designed for KTM provide excellent grip, precise handling and long life.
styling
The 2013 KTM 125 EXC features an ergonomically slim fairing with excellent contact points between rider and machine. It offers unlimited freedom of movement. Redesigned graphics give the new models a more modern look.
