from 2004 to 2026Rocket III - Triumph's absolute demesure
to create the most incredible custom bike ever produced, with a huge engine, Triumph has resurrected an old name... from its erstwhile compatriot: BSA. Indeed, the Rocket III was produced by BSA from 1968 to 1975. At Triumph, the same bike was called the 750 Trident.
in 2004, this extraordinary model was released, with a 2294 cm3 3-cylinder engine, 142 hp and a whopping 20 mkg of torque. There's nothing bigger on the market, until 2019 when the new Rocket III expands to 2458 cm3.
but before that, Triumph reworked the Rocket several times. In 2010, it loses weight, gains better suspension, ABS, a Roadster name, 4 hp and 2 mkg more. 2013 adds another ladleful.
the Euro4 standard ends the Rocket III's career in 2017. A few years pass, and Triumph takes the opportunity to give the machine a thorough overhaul. As a result, a TFC version returns in 2019 with a bigger engine, a new chassis, top-of-the-range peripherals and a lot less weight. The following year, R and GT versions were introduced as standard with the 2.5 L 3-cylinder, 167 hp and almost 23 mkg.
the Rocket III has been available in a number of versions over the course of its career: Touring, Classic, Roadster, X, TFC, Triple Black, Special Edition 221, Chrome.
