the Rocket III is the very expression of excess, an avalanche of torque and sensations. A mechanical ogre, whose 3-cylinder engine is light years ahead of standard considerations. This engine is such a beast that Triumph used to muzzle it in the first three gears.
It seems those days are over, and the world is ready to take on the full power of this enormous 2.3-liter mill. In 2013, the automaker dropped the bridle that had cut 7% of its power from first gear to 3rd. From now on, each gearbox sprocket will have to cope with the 148 horsepower and 22 mkg available to the right hand. If for some the cup was already full, the Rocket III Roadster comes to shake the whole table and those around it.

violent and intimidating, the Rocket III is a real force to be reckoned with. It even loses some of its chrome, replaced by black and more black. It's not dark by design, but a number of elements have become so: headlights, mirrors, mudguard fastenings, airbox cover, etc. The exhaust line and meters escape this fate and continue to shine with light and silver. The Phantom Black colors are now crossed by a double white stripe to great effect.

J\'ai la 2012. Amen, that says it all!
i didn't rate it a 5, because there's no reverse (damn, it's heavy when you park on a slope!) and then I had to fit USB sockets for the connected devices... not to mention fitting a switch to turn off the headlights when you start up... Apart from that, all the others with their mopeds (even the cops) can go to Plumeau's

So I took the plunge and bought the 2013 model, which I'll be picking up on Saturday. During our test ride, we were seduced by this crazy toy. If you like custom bikes but don't find them powerful, or roadsters uncomfortable, or sports bikes too exclusive: go and try a Rocket 3 and get a real kick out of it :) Rating : 5/5

Hi Jean Luc, I also find that it turns a little rapido. I asked my meccano about it and he said it's normal on this bike. Well, I'm not convinced yet. I'll ask again next time... let me know if you've solved the problem by then.

hello everyone, I own the 2010 version bought new, I have only 19300 km (I also ride other motorcycles) I wonder if it is wiser to skip this clamp on the 2010 version rather than buy the 2013 version. bonjour bigfrancois, il y a plus pour longtemps car le 1° janvier 2016 les puissances deviennent libre comme partout ailleurs.je pense que c'est pas la vitesse qui est concerné mais une moto puissante est beaucoup plus sécurisante sur la route que les motos bridées (surtout en 34 cv.)j\'ai 6 motos 18 gold / 15 gold et d\'autre mais ma préférée c\'est la rocket. amitiés Guy.
