presentation of the 125 New Seventy 2019
Now a key player in the 125 market, Mash is already beginning to revisit its very young past. The first chapter was written with the Seventy, of which the current Seventy Five is a close cousin. The initiator let the range emancipate itself, until its descendants forgot about it....
Now it's back with an extensively revised version for 2019. The New Seventy takes on more character, even if it means taking a bite out of the segment.
the 125 Seventy has forgotten its American oval-viewing face for a more rebellious, darker, more hangar-lurking profile. It even touches on a style of preparation with its thermal strips on the exhaust, a protective grille on the headlight, its matte moments, its blunt studded tires, its fork gussets, its jar of sport brake fluid...
No more sausage pot, but an elongated cone. With all this, and a lower handlebar that affirms the riding position, the new Seventy promises to be more intrepid.
as for the engine and chassis, Mash continues with its small, old-fashioned mono. Air-cooled, single ACT, 2-valve, 11.6 hp at 8750 rpm, but with Delphi injection and combined braking. That's enough for the city, especially as at 127 kilos, the bike isn't very heavy.
As usual, the Seventy's strong point is its shock price. At less than 2,000 euros for a new 125, it's unbeatable. That's enough to take on the market leader in 1/8th-liter, which the Seventy Five jealously guards.
