presentation of the 1200 CORSARO VELOCE 2008
the principle of an Italian motorcycle is that as soon as its character is revealed, the manufacturer quickly adds another layer. And so, as soon as the 1200 Corsaro arrived on the market, it was backed up by a sport version known as "Veloce".
With 140 hp, the 87° twin has enough power to shrug its shoulders. Morini didn't deem it necessary to touch the power; he simply grafted on "Termignoni Sport" exhausts. Not only are they Euro 3 compliant, but they also give the boiler a more attractive voice and add 1.3 mkg of torque as a bonus.
More watts is often synonymous with a revised chassis. However, the Veloce's alterations are minimal. A modified shock absorber to absorb and transform the available torque, a Marzocchi fork with more adjustments, Brembo gold-series brakes, repositioned footrests and a shortened shifter travel.since 2008, the Sachs amorto has been replaced by an Öhlins unit. Brake and clutch master cylinders are now radial, and fuel injection has been fine-tuned to reduce fuel consumption. The result is even more sporting fun.
