presentation of the V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel 2026
Today, a Guzzi is a motorcycle with character, not necessarily sporty, but full of charm and no slouch when it comes to rocking the bowls. But that doesn't mean it can be used for racing or even slider rubbing.....
Mandello's past is extraordinarily rich in this respect, with avant-garde solutions that HRC would have dreamed of back in the day (if it had existed in those days). Remember that Moto-Guzzi had its own wind tunnel built to test the aerodynamics of its racing machines.... In 1954; a first.
Just one color? But a whole story around it
Enough to make you think twice before judging the brand. What's more, the new V100 Mandello will not shy away from reminding us of this with this special Wind Tunnel series. The roadster celebrates the 70th anniversary of the factory's "wind tunnel". Elegant and almost senatorial in its deep colors, it combines black and purple like the warmth of a night of fire and embers. Not forgetting little details like the wind tunnel symbol on the winglets.
Aero appendages whose role here is to provide dynamic protection for the pilot... more or less convincing. The V100 offers them on all versions. The Wind Tunnel stands out for its color and equipment: the same as the S, but without the radar system (which can be ordered as an option).
As a result, you'll get semi-active Öhlins suspension, an electric bubble, heated grips, tire pressure monitoring, a USB port, cruise control, an Up&Down shifter, a color TFT display, a Down shifter, 5-inch TFT color display, MIA multimedia platform, traction control, ABS cornering, 4 driving modes, adaptive headlights...
And above all, the voluptuous twin of the new Guzzi era. A lively engine that transmits its strength, 115 horsepower and joy through a cardan shaft housed in a superb single-arm unit. It's a pity that the exhaust encroaches a little on the wheel, preventing the eye from fully appreciating it. Radial Brembo brakes, lashing points for suitcases, an eagle on the shoulders and the eternal overflow cylinder heads complete the package.

moto-Guzzi V100 Mandello riding modes:

- Touring : engine brake intervention (MGFM) is very present, to facilitate deceleration with the throttle closed only; acceleration level (MGCM) is progressive (level 2 out of 3); traction control (MGCT) is at the third level out of four. When this mode is selected, the side deflectors open fully above the 70 km/h threshold (the threshold can be set differently). The V100 Mandello S Smart EC 2.0 suspension configuration is set to level 2 (comfort).
- Pioggia (Rain): all electronic interventions are adjusted to better cope with difficult weather situations. Engine braking is very present; power management is at its softest (level 3 out of 3); Traction Control is at its highest level for total acceleration safety. In this mode, the side deflectors always remain open to maximize water protection at any speed. The V100 Mandello S Smart EC 2.0 suspension configuration is set to level 2 (comfort).
- Road : engine braking is very present: engine mapping is progressive (level 2 out of 3); traction control is at level 2 out of 4. In this mode, the side deflectors remain closed, but the driver can decide to open them at a certain speed. The Smart EC 2.0 suspension configuration on the V100 Mandello S is set to level 1 (Dynamic).
- Sport : electronic settings are fine-tuned to ensure the best possible sporty driving experience. Engine braking is minimal; engine management is more direct and sporty (level 1 in 3); traction control is the least intrusive (first level out of four). In this mode, the side deflectors remain closed, but the driver can decide to open them at a certain speed. The Smart EC 2.0 suspension configuration on the V100 Mandello S is set to level 1 (Dynamic).
